Best things to do in Las Vegas- Visiting the Sin City soon and looking for the best things to do in Las Vegas? You are in the right spot then! I enjoy visiting Vegas for the glitz and glam, however, I like to experience what the city has to offer during the daytime too. Whether that means renting a car to explore or booking some tours through sites like Get Your Guide, Vegas has so much to offer that must not be missed.

Here are some of my recommended activities to do in Vegas:
1. Grand Canyon: West Rim helicopter and landing tour
One of my favorite ways to explore the Grand Canyon, is via a helicopter! You get a bird’s-eye view of this stunning national park, and get to see a lot more in a short period of time. The helicopter does land on ground for roughly 20 mins which is plenty of time to take pics and soak in the amazing views.
Another way to experience the magic of the Canyon is during sunset, via a Grand Canyon sunset tour. This tour lasts about 7 hours, a deluxe tour bus takes you around a couple of stops which gives you plenty of time to take pics and/or walk around.
Watching the sunset from the big glass windows in the bus is the best part of the tour. For some reason, sunsets are a lot more magical in the Grand Canyon. The tour also includes round trip transfers to the Las Vegas strip and admission to the Grand Canyon West Rim. Click here to book the tour.
2. Las Vegas 3 hours night tour by open-top bus
You must have heard that Vegas comes alive once the sun sets and I can attest to it. If you want to see more of the city in a short period, without having to walk for miles & miles, take a 3 hours open top bus tour at night. The bus takes you around some of the main attractions such as Freemont Street for the light and sound show, picture opportunity at the famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, the strip and more! I think this is an excellent way to experience all the best things to do in Las Vegas. Click here for tour.
3. VIP Club Crawl with party bus & exclusive drinks
Let’s be real, one of the main reasons you go to Vegas is to party like there’s no tomorrow! Well, not quiet literally but you get the point. Since you are going to party it up in the Sin City, you might as well be smart about it and have someone drive you around. A party bus is the best way to do it! You can either hire a private party bus or partake in this tour. It takes you around to 3-4 clubs and includes some exclusive drinks. Entrance fees is included to all the venues and you get VIP access entry. Can’t beat this deal! Click here for tour.
4. Emerald Cave half day kayak tour
Now onto some more outdoor adventures. Emerald caves are located on the Colorado River. This 4-mile guided kayak tour includes picturesque natural attractions, wildlife viewing, and a short hike to the historical site of the River Gauger’s Home, as per the website.
The tour includes pick up and drop off from select casinos on the Strip, professional guide, kayaks, and snacks. You will spend a couple of hours on the water, so make sure you stretch your muscles before the tour! Click here for tour.
5. Las Vegas: Go City All-Inclusive Pass with 30+ Attractions
If you are planning to stay in Vegas for a little longer and want to explore more, then this all-inclusive pass might be your best friend as it gives you access to 30+ attractions, best value for your money. Check out this link for a full list of all the attractions included with the pass. Click here for tour.
6. Horseback Riding Tour
Horseback riding! One of my absolute favorite activities to do, whether, that is at a beach in the Caribbean or in the desert. I highly recommend trying this once in a lifetime experience where you go horseback riding in the deserts of Nevada, away from the casinos, like a cowboy/cowgirl and learn about the horses. Click here for tour.
7. Private 7 Magic Mountains and Vegas Sign Car Trip
Couple more great photo spots are the Vegas sign and Seven Magic Mountains. They both require a vehicle ride to get there so this private tour is perfect for it. Click here for tour.
8. Ticket for Blue Man Group Show
Watching a show in Vegas, is truly one of the best things to do during your trip. The performers are some of the best in the world and you will be left in awe! The Blue Man Group show lives up to it’s hype and is one of the most entertaining shows. I highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance because they do sell out quick. Click here for tour.
Last couple of fun activities on my list are a ATV ride through the Grand Canyon and a tour of the Hoover Dam. Click below for more details on each of these tours.
9. Grand Canyon North Tour w/Polaris Ranger or ATV
10. Small Group 3-Hour Hoover Dam Mini Tour
Vegas has so much more to offer than casinos and extravagant night life that is many times overlooked by visitors. Whether you are into outdoor activities or shopping, Vegas definitely has something for you. Check it out! Lastly, I like to book most of my tours through getyourguide.com as I have found the website to be most convenient in finding the best tours with reliable companies around the world.

We spent some time in August and September this year in Vegas, loved it! I’d add skydiving! It was the best experience, and amazing views too!
A horseback riding tour in the desert sounds amazing!
Wow! Emerald cave tour sounds awesome.
There is noticeably a bundle to know about this. I assume you made certain nice points in features also.
