Can you believe it, Spring Break is right around the corner! I feel time stopped since April 2020 when the lockdowns first began. I know I am not the only one who can’t wait to travel again when it is safe. I have some pending international trips. Until things don’t go back to normal, we have to make the best of our situation and keep on living. Having said that, here are the top Spring break destinations in Florida.

Miami
Spring break in Miami is like the #1 thing to do. Miami has been a crowds’ favorite for decades and it still continues to be so. Thanks to the evolving city, cool new neighborhoods are always popping up. The city not only has some amazing beaches and fun nightlife, the food scene is also unique.

Orlando
I may be biased since I live in Orlando, but the central location, weather, theme parks, shopping, etc. make Orlando a hot spot for Spring breakers. And if you are missing the beach, the closest beach is only a 45 mins drive from here! We truly have the best of all worlds here. But I want you to see it for yourself. St. Augustine
St. Augustine is rich in history and culture as it is the nation’s oldest city and was founded in 1565 by Spanish explorers. My favorite parts are learning about the history as well as checking out different cafes and antique shops.

Clearwater
Clearwater beach where you’ll feel the warmth of the sun on your face, white sand between your toes and stunning views of crystal clear water. Sounds magical, right? It is an amazing experience visiting Clearwater. With the beaches only a few minutes from Tampa, you have a lot more to do in the city.
Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium, Adventure Island water park, Tampa Zoo, Tampa Riverwalk, the options are endless. With all these fun activities, you are promised an exciting and fun filled spring break. This clearly explains why Clearwater is in my top spring break destinations in Florida list.
Jacksonville
I know when you typically think of the top Spring break destinations in Florida, Jacksonville doesn’t really come to your mind. But let me tell you why this city made it to the list.
Jacksonville is the most populous city in Florida, and is the largest city by area in the contiguous United States. I bet you didn’t know that! Daytona
Located on the Atlantic coast, about a 2 hours drive from Orlando, is Daytona Beach. It’s known for Daytona International Speedway, which hosts the iconic Daytona 500 Nascar races. Some areas on the beach are drivable, yes you can drive your vehicle on the beach, thanks to the hard-packed sand. You can also checkout the rides at Daytona Boardwalk amusements, spend a day at the Daytona Lagoon or go on a kayak trip in one of Daytona’s waterways.
