    Where to eat in Orlando

If you are wondering where to eat in Orlando or which are the best restaurants that you must try, then this post is for you.

Let’s just get one thing out of the way, Orlando’s food scene does not get enough credit. When people think about this city, they usually go straight to theme parks and Mickey-shaped snacks. But after living here and constantly eating my way through town (tough job, I know), I can confidently say: Orlando is a foodie playground.

There’s something for everyone, from trendy brunch spots to local gems, authentic international food, and cozy cafés that feel like home. Whether you’re here on vacation or you’re a local looking for new spots to try, this guide is packed with my personal go-to places. And I’m not just giving you names, I’m telling you what to order, why I loved it, and how it made me feel, because food is a full experience, right?

So here it is, my favorite places to eat in Orlando, broken down by category and neighborhood. Come hungry, friends.

I now offer a custom vacation planning service. Check it out here!

TOP 3 COFFEE SPOTS IN ORLANDO

Let’s start with coffee because, let’s be real, caffeine is a daily essential. These are the places I go to when I want a really good cup, and a cozy vibe to match.

    1. Lineage Coffee Roasting: If you’re serious about your beans, this is the spot. Their pour-over is one of the best I’ve had, and the minimalist vibe is perfect for a slow morning. Their pastries also hit the spot (grab a kouign-amann if they have one!).
    2. Craft & Common: This place gives big city coffeehouse energy with an Orlando twist. The vibe is aesthetic, the playlists are always on point, and the lavender latte? A dream. They also have cute breakfast bites and outdoor seating when the weather’s nice.
    3. Qreate Coffee + Studio: Half coffee shop, half creative space, and 100% good vibes. I love coming here when I need a little inspiration. Try their Thai tea cold brew, it’s different and so good. Bonus: there are swings inside. Literal swings.

TOP 3 BREAKFAST & BRUNCH SPOTS IN ORLANDO

Brunch is a lifestyle here. Whether you’re recovering from a long day at the parks or starting your weekend slow, these places have never let me down.

    1. Se7en Bites (Milk District): I’m obsessed with this place. It’s retro, quirky, and everything is baked fresh. Their biscuit sandwiches are unreal, and the salted caramel dark chocolate pecan pie? Life-changing. It gets busy, but it’s so worth the wait.
    2. The Glass Knife (Winter Park):  This is one of those “treat yourself” spots. The décor is chic, the service is friendly, and their baked goods are art. I always order the smoked salmon tartine and a seasonal latte. Then I grab a slice of cake to go, obviously.
    3. White Wolf Café (Ivanhoe Village): It’s cozy, a little funky, and totally feels like a neighborhood staple. Their eggs benedict is top-tier, and I love coming here when I want something hearty but not too fussy. Great mimosas too!

TOP 3 LUNCH SPOTS IN ORLANDO

Midday hunger hits differently when you’ve been running around theme parks or wandering around town. These are my go-to lunch places that always satisfy without making me feel like I need a nap right after.

    1. Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria (Milk District): This place is funky in the best way. Think sandwiches named Mama Ling Ling’s Thanksgiving and a menu filled with quirky combos that work. Get a tea, get a sandwich, get comfy.
    2. East End Market (Audubon Park):  Technically this is a market with multiple vendors, but that’s what makes it so great. I usually grab a bánh mì from Haan Coffee, then a seasonal salad or wrap from Farm & Haus. It’s casual, community-centered, and the outdoor seating is lovely.
    3. Black Rooster Taqueria (Mills 50): Fresh, modern Mexican food with killer tacos and a beautiful mural wall for your IG stories. I always order the pork belly taco and hibiscus tea. It’s quick, delicious, and just a fun place to be.

TOP 4 DINNER SPOTS IN ORLANDO

Dinner is when I like to go all in, good food, good drinks, and an atmosphere that makes me want to linger.

    1. The Ravenous Pig (Winter Park): This spot is my go-to for date nights and special occasions. It’s classy but not stuffy, and the seasonal menu is always creative. The charcuterie board is a must, and their cocktails are amazing. Get the Old Fashioned.
    2. Domu (East End Market): This ramen and izakaya-style spot is everything. The house ramen with the perfectly soft egg, crispy wings, and sake on the side? Absolute perfection. It’s cool, energetic, and the kind of place you wish you could recreate at home.
    3. Kabooki Sushi (Colonial): Some of the best sushi I’ve had outside of a coastal city. It’s upscale but relaxed. Their omakase is totally worth it if you’re in the mood to treat yourself. I still dream about the truffle hamachi.
    4. Prato (Park Avenue, Winter Park): Italian food, but make it trendy. Their Fiorentina pizza is a favorite, and the vibe on Park Avenue at night is so dreamy. It feels like you’re in a tiny European town: romantic, a little fancy, and totally delicious.

    TOP 3 BARS IN ORLANDO

    1. Mathers Social Gathering (Downtown Orlando): I personally like this one, stepping into Mathers feels like entering a vintage parlor from the 1920s. Located in a historic building, this bar exudes elegance with its exposed brick walls, antique furnishings, and dim lighting. The cocktail menu is both classic and inventive, offering drinks that are as visually appealing as they are delicious. It’s the perfect spot for a sophisticated night out or a romantic date.
    2. Otto’s High Dive (Milk District): Otto’s is a delightful blend of Cuban flair and Floridian charm. This Michelin Bib Gourmand-rated bar offers a relaxed atmosphere with its whitewashed brick walls and tropical decor. Their rum-based cocktails are a nod to classic Cuban recipes, and the food menu, featuring dishes like ropa vieja and Argentinian red shrimp cocktail, is equally impressive. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy quality drinks and bites.
    3. ICEBAR Orlando (International Drive): For a truly unique experience, ICEBAR Orlando is a must-visit. Claiming the title of the world’s largest permanent ice bar, everything inside, from the walls to the glasses, is made of ice. Guests are provided with thermal capes and gloves to stay warm in the chilly environment, such an amazing experience! After enjoying a frosty cocktail, you can head to the adjacent Fire Lounge to warm up and continue the festivities.
